Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a forward-thinking and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join its Stroke Therapy Team at the Royal Bolton Hospital, with potential opportunities to rotate into community stroke and neurorehabilitation services. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide specialized Occupational Therapy interventions for stroke patients. The successful candidate will engage in therapeutic assessments, manage a defined caseload, and develop individualized treatment plans while benefiting from a supportive environment that emphasises staff training and development.

The Specialist Occupational Therapist will work autonomously, leveraging expert knowledge to deliver care and provide supervision for junior therapy staff and students.
