The role of "Band 3 - Hepatology Administrator, Gastroenterology/Hepatology" at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust involves providing essential administrative support within the Gastroenterology Department at Watford General Hospital, with potential cross-site responsibilities. The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and focuses on supporting the Hepatology Consultant, Nursing Team, and multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient management of outpatient appointments and adherence to NHS targets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing outpatient hepatology appointments: booking, canceling, and rescheduling.
- Ensuring compliance with the Patient Access Policy.
- Monitoring and managing patient data, including fibroscan waiting lists and appointment confirmations.
- Liaising with the outpatient department regarding clinic changes and cancellations.
- Maintaining the quality and integrity of patient information.
