Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days

YTHFM is seeking motivated and experienced individuals for the role of Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations within the Facilities Department at Scarborough Hospital. The role requires strong leadership and experience in soft services such as cleaning, portering, waste management, and linen services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure high standards in cleaning, decontamination, portering, waste management, and linen services.
  • Lead and train on-site teams while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Conduct audits, monitor budgets, and maintain compliance records related to soft services.
  • Handle initial HR-related issues and ensure proper management of staff leave and appraisals.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of consumables and equipment within budget.
