The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) Health Improvement Practitioner to join their Health Improvement Team in Wrexham, focusing on Nutrition and Weight Management. The role aims to enhance health outcomes and reduce health inequalities in areas such as Caia Park and Central Wrexham. Candidates should possess relevant knowledge and experience in Health Improvement, Health Promotion, Public Health, or similar fields, and have a strong interest in public health strategies to support health and wellbeing in Wales.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate various health improvement programs addressing Nutrition, Weight Management, Physical Activity, Substance Misuse, and Mental Health. The position requires a motivated and self-directed individual with a relevant degree or equivalent experience. Regular supervision and professional development opportunities will be provided. While Welsh language skills are desirable, English and Welsh speakers are encouraged to apply.
