The Assistant Psychologist role at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is designed to support and enhance professional psychological practice within the service, focusing on service development, evaluation, and clinical support. Candidates will work under the supervision of a registered Clinical Psychologist, engaging in various tasks such as conducting assessments, supporting treatment interventions, and managing projects related to service improvement. The position also involves organizing and co-teaching psycho-educational courses, leveraging advanced IT skills to maintain databases and support research.

The Trust is particularly encouraging applications from individuals from under-represented backgrounds in clinical psychology, including those from ethnic minorities, low socio-economic backgrounds, or with caring responsibilities. There are nine fixed-term posts available, with options for full-time and part-time work.
