Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual experienced in project support to work alongside experienced medicines optimisation pharmacists and two other medicines optimisation technicians in the newly created single NCL team.
The purpose of this post is to support the Medicines Optimisation Team in delivering the ICB priorities in relation to medicines and the medicines optimisation strategy and workplan for our residents and patients. This role requires the individual to have experience of working with a wide range of healthcare professionals, exceptional organisational skills, and high aptitude of forward planning.
- Supporting all aspects of the ICB Medicines Optimisation Team's function; this includes specific project work, operational work and standing administrative responsibilities, including organising meetings, minute taking, etc
- To provide dedicated business support and co-ordination to meetings including agenda planning, minute taking and action tracking to enable progress to be followed up and measured.
- Responsibility for diary management, contract management, project management, document production, financial management and meeting administration.
- To support the development, implementation, reporting/ monitoring and evaluation of information systems/ databases as required.
- Provide high quality service for all internal and external stakeholders. Acting as a local 'face' for enquiries, while communicating in a professional and confident manner (face to face, phone, email, etc.).
- To maintain a system of strong communications management around the internal and external networks that the team interface with - fostering positive working relationships, including the ability to negotiate and influence with individuals/ stakeholders at all levels regardless of seniority.
- To support quality and improvement work relevant to the ICBs duties around delegation of community pharmacy commissioning.
