City Health Practice Limited in Hull is seeking a salaried General Practitioner to join their primary care services for 15 hours per week. The successful candidate will be an experienced GP working within a multi-disciplinary team to address the health care needs of registered patients. Key responsibilities include providing high-quality clinical care, initiating clinical assessments such as telephone triage, and utilizing advanced skills for diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients with undiagnosed conditions. The role requires flexibility to adapt to the demands of the practice and involves collaboration with senior management to ensure efficient patient care delivery.

Candidates must hold full GMC registration, a Professional Medical qualification, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. The role also emphasises the importance of identifying health needs and contributing to health planning and decision-making within the healthcare team to achieve health gains for the community served by City Health Practices.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be a fully experienced General Practitioner who will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide services in general practice to meet the health care needs of those people who are registered at the practice.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is provided for patients across the service. The post holder will initiate clinical assessment including telephone triage, diagnosis, treatment, referral using a range of advanced skills and expert knowledge for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.

Doctors must have full GMC registration, Professional Medical qualification, Certificate of prescribed or equivalent experience (JCTGP) and/or A Certificate of Completion of Training and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

To provide high quality General Medical Services to patients registered to City Health Practices (CHPL) , identifying health needs and achieve health gain for this population.

The post-holder will also contribute to planning and decision making as part of the health care teams.

The post-holder will liaise and work with the Senior Management with responsibility for co-ordinating the salaried doctors to ensure efficient and quality patient care delivery at all times, this will require flexibility and adaptability based on demands across the business.
