The role of Voluntary Services Organiser at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust involves overseeing the Northumbria Volunteer Service and the Volunteer Cafe at North Tyneside hospital. Key responsibilities include organizing volunteer rotas, daily supervision of volunteers, maintaining service standards, ensuring food quality and hygiene compliance, and managing cash accounts. The position also requires sound knowledge of stock control procedures, overseeing stock ordering, and handling deliveries, while also addressing any issues or grievances raised by volunteers and ensuring effective communication across the Trust.
