The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated part-time IDD Specialist Dietitian to join their Intellectual Developmental Disabilities Directorate in Nottingham. The role, totaling 26.25 hours per week, involves providing specialist, evidence-based dietary advice and treatment to clients and their carers within the Community IDD Dietetics Team. The service operates Monday to Friday, with a focus on patient homes, clinics, and inpatient settings in Nottingham City and South Nottinghamshire, with plans to eventually expand coverage across the entire county.

Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent qualification that qualifies them for registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian, along with post-registration clinical experience in various settings. Essential skills include excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and the ability to manage a high caseload autonomously. The role requires both individual and consultative approaches, including training for staff. The Trust does not sponsor visas for this position, as the salary does not meet the minimum required for a Skilled Worker visa.
