Candidates need to be able to work well as part of a team showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients. Flexibility in times of staff annual leave and sickness is essential.

Job Role:
Type and process referrals and general correspondence using a digital dictation system.
Plan/organise a number of conflicting tasks and priorities whilst still meeting deadlines.
Liaise with Hospital staff, GPs, Community Teams and internal staff via email and telephone.
Collate information as and when required.
Keep accurate referral records for audit purposes.
Run monthly recalls.
Process private referrals and upload to an online portal.
Maintain patient records.
Use (e-RS) electronic Referral Service, EMIS, Docman and Microsoft applications.
Deal with a high volume of work.
Any other delegated duties considered appropriate to post.
