The role of "Senior Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Clinical Psychology" at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves leading an innovative project aimed at integrating mental health support into the care of children and young people with epilepsy, which began in March 2023. The successful candidate will work within a team of experienced Clinical Psychologists at York Hospital, continuing to implement mental health screening and psychological interventions, while developing collaborations with various Child and Young Person (CYP) services across the Integrated Care System (ICS). The position entails managing a clinical caseload, providing specialist psychological advice, and leading research efforts to evaluate the project's impact through data collection and reporting.
