The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in London is seeking a dedicated Specialist Hand Therapist with extensive experience in complex clinical assessments in hand therapy. This role involves managing a specialized caseload of patients with orthopaedic hand and plastic surgery conditions, utilizing advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based knowledge to assess, diagnose, and implement appropriate management plans autonomously. The therapist will be accountable for maintaining accurate patient documentation, evaluating treatment outcomes in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and providing recommendations based on advanced clinical knowledge.

Candidates should possess a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and evidence of postgraduate development in hand therapy. The ideal applicant will have experience with complex plastic and orthopaedic cases, skill in splinting and postoperative wound care, and familiarity with cognitive-behavioral approaches to rehabilitation.
