The Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking passionate and dedicated professionals for two roles: Specialist Haemato-oncology and Palliative Care (HOPe) Occupational Therapist (30 hours per week) and Specialist Haemato-oncology and Palliative Care (HOPe) Physiotherapist (22.5 hours per week), both at Band 6. These are fixed-term positions set to last until March 31, 2026, designed to provide high-quality therapy services to patients with complex needs in the areas of haemato-oncology and palliative care.

The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team and work closely with a senior occupational therapist to deliver evidence-based interventions for patients with conditions such as cancer of unknown primary, lung, upper gastrointestinal, primary brain cancers, and haematological malignancies. Their responsibilities will include managing outpatient and community patients, optimizing clinical outcomes, and addressing individual needs to improve quality of life, prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, and support patients' preferences for care. The roles align with the Trust's strategy and values, emphasizing the importance of collaborative patient-centered care.
