The Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Mental Health Practitioner for a fixed-term position of 12 months in Maidenhead, focused on Older People's Mental Health Services. The role requires an experienced registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with at least two years of post-registration experience and specialized knowledge in caring for older individuals with mental health issues and crises. The practitioner will be responsible for assessing and implementing intensive care and treatment in the homes of clients, including those with dementia. The position involves managing a caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and using various therapeutic interventions.

This role includes visiting clients in the local community, requiring a car, and attending occasional team meetings, primarily conducted virtually. The service operates seven days a week, necessitating flexible shift work during service hours, including some weekends and bank holidays.
