The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Medical Rota Team Service Manager to oversee the rota management for doctors across the Trust. This role requires an enthusiastic manager with experience in NHS doctor rotas, tasked with leading a busy administration team and ensuring the effective deployment of junior medical staff across various specialties. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with consultants, care group directors, and medical leads to maintain high-quality patient care, manage staffing levels, and optimize resource utilisation, including handling annual leave and minimizing locum cover expenses.

In this fast-paced environment, the post holder will support the Guardian of Safe Working, manage relationships with junior doctors and management teams, and proactively address staffing challenges. Key responsibilities include maintaining a daily overview of junior medical staff, overseeing absence management, and providing essential administrative support to ensure efficient medical rota management across the Trust.
