The Specialist Pharmacist role at Nuffield Health Hospital in Tunbridge Wells involves delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology, haemato-oncology, and elective surgical patients. Responsibilities include conducting medicines reconciliation, managing discharge medications, providing drug information, and ensuring safe prescribing practices. The role requires the verification and screening of SACT treatment prescriptions, along with the administration and coordination of SACT treatments, while also developing protocols and guidelines for treatment. The pharmacist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, train and support pharmacy colleagues, and engage in regular knowledge sharing across Nuffield Health oncology sites.

Candidates should be UK Registered Pharmacists with at least 4-5 years of post-qualification experience, specifically in oncology and haemato-oncology. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and clinical staff.
