Chainbridge Medical Partnership is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their team in Blaydon-on-Tyne. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant telephone demeanor, the ability to work under pressure, and enjoy engaging with people. While prior experience is preferred, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided. Key responsibilities include answering phone calls from patients, scheduling appointments for healthcare staff, addressing patient inquiries, processing repeat prescriptions, and managing reception desk duties. The role aims to deliver a high-quality reception service and serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring efficient and courteous assistance.
Chainbridge Medical Partnership are looking to expand our team of reception staff. We are looking for applicants with a good telephone manner who can work under pressure and enjoy interacting with people. Previous experience would be desirable but is not essential as full training will be provided.
The main duties of the role will be answering the telephone to patients and other others contacting the practice, making appointments for GPs, nurses and other attached staff, answering the many patient queries, producing repeat prescriptions for patients and taking a turn on the reception desk.
