The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a permanent Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Acute Consultant Psychiatrist for their expanding crisis and home treatment service in Haywards Heath. This role involves designing and developing an innovative care model for young people aged 12 to 18 years, focusing on providing safe and effective community-based treatment as an alternative to inpatient admission. The position offers considerable financial incentives, including a £25,000 Recruitment and Retention Payment and up to £8,000 in relocation allowance.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with doctors, therapists, and social workers to enhance the acute care pathway. Additionally, the consultant will be part of a wider Trust network of psychiatrists, contributing to the CAMHS Psychiatry on-call rota, and may see some adjustments to the job description pending Royal College approval.
