Bank Liaison and Diversion Navigator- ClevelandinMiddlesbroughinMiddlesbroughPUBLISHED WED 6 NOV 2024

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a "Bank Liaison and Diversion Navigator" for their Cleveland L&D team, based in the York Police Custody Suite. This role involves working directly with vulnerable individuals who come into contact with criminal justice agencies, offering early identification and support for issues such as homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health challenges. The Navigator will be responsible for directing these individuals to appropriate support services, helping them engage with interventions that enhance their resilience and reduce the likelihood of re-offending.

The position requires the successful candidate to work in a challenging environment, often engaging with individuals facing significant behavioral issues. While the primary work location is a police custody suite, the Navigator may need to travel across the police force area as demands arise. Candidates must also pass stringent vetting checks, including a DBS and Police Vetting, due to the nature of the role within a custodial setting.
