West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Senior Diagnostic Radiographer (CT/MRI) to join their expanding Radiology Service at St Albans City Hospital, starting in February 2025. The role involves participating in a 7-day working model with long shifts, offering flexibility to also work at Hemel Hempstead Hospital and Watford General Hospital. The new Community Diagnostic Centre, opening in April 2025, will enhance patient care by increasing scanning capacity and improving referral-to-treatment times.

The ideal candidate will have CT and/or MRI experience, taking part in delivering high-quality imaging services, mentoring staff and students, ensuring compliance with IRMER17 regulations, and maintaining quality assurance records. Strong communication skills and alignment with the trust's values are essential for this position, which aims to cultivate a collaborative and skilled Radiology team.
