The Mental Health Practitioner role with NELFT at the Pathfinders Family First project in Ilford focuses on enhancing antenatal and perinatal mental health for women and families with additional vulnerabilities. The Practitioner will be part of the 'Pre and Post Birth Multi Agency Team' within the Children's Social Care in Redbridge, collaborating with social workers, health practitioners, and family support workers to deliver low to moderate intensity psychological interventions. The primary responsibilities include assessing and managing clients, providing cognitive behavioral therapy, supporting positive parenting and attachment styles, and organizing their own workload effectively.

Candidates must possess relevant accreditation from a professional body and demonstrate a high level of professional skills. The role requires home visits, maintaining accurate records, adhering to Trust protocols, and ensuring effective risk management. Ultimately, the goal is to improve the mental well-being and parenting capabilities of clients up to the child's first birthday within a multidisciplinary framework.
