24-HOUR CRIMINAL JUSTICE MENTAL HEALTH NHS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
The Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic Band 6 Charge Nurse for the Kingfisher Ward, a 26-bed low secure unit for women with mental illness and/or personality disorders. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including a Modern Matron, Ward Manager, and Clinical Nurse Lead, to deliver evidence-based care tailored to individual patient needs. The Charge Nurse will play a vital role in developing and supporting staff while contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, especially for those with complex backgrounds, including interactions with the criminal justice system.

Candidates should possess strong clinical skills, a positive attitude, and a calm demeanor to navigate the challenges of the role. The position requires participation in mandatory training and entails a rotating shift pattern to maintain 24/7 service coverage. Additional benefits include a £1,446 per annum RSU Lead payment on top of the salary.
