This position is aimed at individuals with a degree-level qualification and relevant NMC registration, preferably with prior community experience working with adults aged 25 and above who have complex, long-term mental health needs. The role involves engaging with service users who may avoid mental health services, requiring effective communication, risk assessment skills, and a commitment to high-quality care within a multi-disciplinary team setting.

The CPN will manage a caseload of up to 15 service users, focusing on recovery and collaboration with partner services and stakeholders. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, be willing to travel across the Birmingham & Solihull area, and possess a genuine interest in supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues alongside their carers. The Trust emphasises a supportive environment for professional development and encourages early applications due to the possibility of early closure of the advert based on applicant volume.
