Job description
Airedale Hospital & Community Charity (AHCC) is the dedicated charity of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. We support the staff, patients and communities of Airedale across 700 square miles of West and North Yorkshire and East Lancashire. The Charity operates under the corporate trusteeship of Airedale NHS Foundation Trust with a Charitable Funds Committee (CFC) to manage day-to-day operations.
The post of Community Fundraiser is an important link between the hospital charity and the local community. You are the face of the Charity in the community and, in collaboration with the wider Charity team will be responsible for developing and delivering income.
Reporting to the Head of Charity, the post holder will be responsible for developing income through effective donor acquisition; building and maintaining effective relationships; providing fundraising support and advice; attending and organising high quality events for our supporters.
The post holder will comply with both Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice.
