The University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Haematology to join their Cancer Care directorate. This predominantly ward-based role involves collaborating with various healthcare staff, conducting ward rounds, admitting patients, and performing patient assessments. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as updating patient notes, drug prescriptions, discharge processes, and attending clinics and Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, as well as troubleshooting patient issues on the ward and participating in the on-call shift system.

The Haematology department is staffed by 16 Consultants and supported by Junior Clinical Fellows and Physicians Associates, offering the successful candidate a comprehensive learning experience. The role is designed to enhance clinical skills while providing essential patient care in a collaborative team environment.
