The role of "Criminal Justice Engagement Worker" in Newport with Inclusion involves supporting individuals in the criminal justice system who struggle with drug-related issues. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing assessment and support for service users upon their release from custody.
- Delivering brief interventions and facilitating harm reduction initiatives, including Naloxone training.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to foster recovery and build support networks.
- Managing day-to-day issues faced by service users and addressing barriers to engagement with services.
- Promoting recovery visibility and encouraging access to local substance misuse and mental health resources.

This full-time position is initially for a period of 6 months, focusing on empowering clients and ensuring positive recovery outcomes.
