Tadworth Medical Centre is seeking a proactive and experienced Practice Nurse to join their supportive healthcare team for up to three days per week. The role involves delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients, assisting doctors and healthcare staff, and managing chronic diseases such as Asthma, COPD, and Diabetes. Key responsibilities include performing childhood immunisations, wound care, travel vaccinations, cervical smears, and general nursing duties. The Practice Nurse will also conduct health assessments, manage minor illnesses, and ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and infection control procedures.

Candidates should be capable of holistic patient assessments, document consultations according to NMC guidelines, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Additionally, the role requires fostering effective communication within the practice and with external agencies, contributing to service development, attending staff meetings, and participating in ongoing professional development. The successful applicant will play an essential part in promoting health and well-being within the community, supporting patient education, and maintaining a collaborative learning environment within the team.
