The Northwest London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT) is seeking a Neurological Nurse Specialist to join its community neurological nursing team in Romford, serving patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, and Parkinson's Disease. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of neurological conditions, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload, developing and implementing patient-centered care plans, and collaborating with various healthcare professionals and community organisations to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

Candidates should hold a current Registered Nurse qualification and have a commitment to enhancing clinical services. Additionally, they must be prepared to pursue Non-Medical Prescribing training if not already qualified. The role emphasises the importance of maintaining accurate records for audits, ensuring effective risk management, and adhering to Trust protocols and NICE Guidelines.
