The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a 999 Call Handler for its Clinical Contact Centre, soon relocating to St Asaph. This role is vital in managing emergency calls, requiring quick and accurate data entry into a computer system while maintaining effective communication with both the public and healthcare professionals. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and keyboard skills, along with a willingness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Although Welsh language proficiency is desirable, candidates who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have at least five GCSEs or an equivalent qualification, along with experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting. The role involves working on varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, necessitating flexibility and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
