Working Full time : 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking Supplies Services. You will form part of a team which provides an efficient stock replenishment service to the Wards and Departments, and ensures the smooth running of the Supplies Department which includes carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.

This is an apprenticeship role - and you will be completing a warehousing apprenticeship (Level 2) - if you already hold this apprenticeship, apprenticeship wage will not be applicable to your application. Otherwise the wage is £11.44p h until completion of the apprenticeship.
- Experience of Materials Management and/or a Stock Control System desirable
- To be able to carry out significant manual handling i.e. handling of pallets and bulk deliveries
- Customer Service skills and ability to demonstrate impact and proactive customer relationship building
- Good communication skills
- Initiative and Problem Solving skills
- To provide a full top up service to Wards and Departments using handheld computers and manual requisitions, making flexible adjustments depending on needs of the Trust
- To be able to plan and deliver own work schedule to an appropriate timescale
- To have the ability to work in all parts of Supplies
- To use the Trust Purchase and Supply System for all Supplies requirements, such as booking in deliveries, and using stock management system
- To deliver goods using safe manual handling processes
- To provide a service for ordering, receiving and put away of items within the Auto Dispensing Cabinets within the Trust
