BIOPSY MENTAL HEALTH MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS
The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Mental Health Practitioner (RNMH) for its Spalding & South Lincolnshire Rural locality mental health service. This role involves providing bio-psychosocial support to working-age individuals with severe and enduring mental illness as part of a community mental health team. Key responsibilities include triaging referrals, conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, establishing collaborative recovery-focused goals, and facilitating interventions that empower individuals and their social networks. The role also involves offering professional advice to multidisciplinary teams and other agencies, promoting trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches, and contributing to a psychologically safe work environment.

The successful candidate will engage actively in the mental health transformation agenda, utilizing tools like Iroc and the HOPE toolkit to guide interventions and develop formulations based on individual needs and strengths. Additionally, the role encompasses providing training and mentorship for colleagues and nursing students, fostering collaboration across health and social care sectors, and ensuring adherence to Trust policies and relevant mental health legislation. The position emphasises the importance of maintaining a supportive environment that values diverse perspectives while delivering high-quality mental health care.
