The Occupational Therapist for Older People's Mental Health at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust will provide high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy services to elderly clients with mental health issues. This role involves assessing occupational performance, planning and delivering goal-oriented interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary care plan, and collaborating with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective support and care. The therapist will also participate in the planning and evaluation of occupational therapy provisions, manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, and employ evidence-based assessments and therapeutic approaches.

The position requires the therapist to work flexibly across various settings based on client needs, promote a recovery-focused culture, and offer professional support and training on occupational therapy and mental health topics when necessary.
