The Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual for the role of Administrative Officer for the Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) in Glangwili. This is a fixed-term position until November 30, 2026, and is open to Hywel Dda employees as a secondment with managerial consent. The successful candidate will support the FLS team, promoting service quality and patient care improvements within a friendly environment.

Key responsibilities include general administration and secretarial tasks, maintaining confidentiality, acting as a liaison among FLS practitioners, wards, GPs, and patients, and handling first-line inquiries both in person and via phone or email. The role requires independent work, adaptability, and occasional travel to other sites. Additional duties include managing correspondence, maintaining databases, transcribing meeting notes, providing training on business systems, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The Health Board values bilingualism, and while Welsh language skills are desirable, support is offered for employees to develop these skills. Applications are encouraged from Welsh speakers. Interviews are scheduled for December 16, 2024.
