Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse for its General Surgical unit, F8. The role involves providing specialized care to acute patients, focusing on pre and post-operative care, rehabilitation needs, post-operative pain management, and fostering collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while maintaining high standards and adhering to Trust policies.

In this role, the nurse will also coordinate the team in the absence of leadership, ensure patient confidentiality, handle complaints, escalate incidents as needed, and participate in clinical supervision. Additional responsibilities include mentoring student nurses and new team members, conducting audits on patient care, managing resources efficiently, and performing administrative tasks as delegated.
