Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse for its General Surgical unit, F8. The role involves providing specialized care to acute patients, focusing on pre and post-operative care, rehabilitation needs, post-operative pain management, and fostering collaborative relationships with a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 who is interested in working in an exciting area providing a high level of specialist care.
You will have the opportunity to gain a great understanding in the care of a variety of acute patients. Key areas will include pre and post-operative care, meeting rehab needs, post-operative pain management and establishing working relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
F8is a great place to learn a whole new speciality as the unit features a completely specific patient dynamic. Because of this, you will build great working relationships within the teams.
To work as part of a team of nurses, health care assistants and care assistants and be responsible for the assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating of nursing care.
