The role of Deep Clean/Rapid Response Assistant at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, part of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the hospital environment. The position focuses on general cleaning duties as well as specialized deep cleaning following infections and maintenance activities. Candidates will be trained in the use of advanced decontamination equipment and will receive on-the-job training; prior cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

This position offers a permanent contract with a pay rate of approximately £12.26 per hour, with higher rates for weekend work. The role requires the ability to travel to various community hospitals and clinics, necessitating a driving license. Working hours consist of 35 hours per week on a rota, including evenings and weekends. The Health Board provides excellent working conditions, including benefits such as paid holidays and pension options. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.
