The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Bank Advanced Practitioner Ultrasound to join their established team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers sessional work at a rate of £44 per hour, with flexible hours available seven days a week between 8:30 am and 8 pm. Candidates should possess a case-accredited PgC, PgD, or MSc in non-obstetric ultrasound and have extensive independent work experience within the NHS. The position involves performing a variety of ultrasound scans across different specialties, including general medical, small parts, gynaecology, and vascular imaging.
The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills and will contribute to delivering high-quality ultrasound services, including support for maternity and early pregnancy unit services. The department operates from multiple locations, ensuring comprehensive care including outpatient services and acute inpatient support. As an autonomous practitioner, the individual will manage a diverse and challenging caseload within a modern, dynamic department dedicated to providing efficient healthcare services.
