The North Bristol NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Switchboard Administrator to join their team in Bristol, working on a rotary shift basis to provide 24/7 support. The role involves managing and answering all incoming and internal calls, operating the emergency paging system, and ensuring adherence to responsive and professional standards. The successful candidate will report to the Switchboard Supervisor and will be responsible for maintaining key information systems, including the National Early Warning Score (NEWS), updating on-call rotas, and managing the live switchboard directory.

Candidates should possess switchboard experience and have a strong understanding of the challenges in the NHS. The position requires effective communication with various levels of staff, including executive directors and clinical teams, as well as the ability to handle emergency procedures and alarm responses efficiently. Overall, the role emphasises maintaining strong working relationships, operational efficiency, and high-quality service delivery within the Switchboard Services.
