We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a Part Time Permanent basis. The Devon OOH service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. The OOH service operates throughout a number of locations within Devon so occasional travel may be required, however your main base will be in our St Leonards Practice in Exeter. Within this job you'll be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in the running of Practice Plus Groups services throughout Devon OOH but specifically in our Exeter sites. You will ensure the delivery of a high quality service for Practice Plus Group patients by utilising resources whilst helping with monitoring and evaluating the performance of operational staff by conducting regular audits. Assisting training of new operational staff and providing the Operations Manager with reports when needed. You will also cover the Driver position, youll chauffeur GPs and nurses to and from patients homes typically when theyre unable to see their usual clinician. This is not an emergency service and you will need to follow the normal rules of the road. It will be part of your role to ensure the safety of our clinicians and medical equipment, so you may be asked to escort them to the patients front door. Youll also be expected to keep vehicles appropriately maintained.
This job is a Permanent Part Time position and we are looking for someone to work Approximately 18 hours a week on a 3 week rolling rota. As we we are an OOH service you will be required to work unsociable hours. Salary & Benefits:
