Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join their Community Mental Health Team for Older Persons in Northallerton. The role involves providing dietetic support, nutrition guidance, and weight management advice to patients in their homes and care facilities, specifically addressing mental health conditions such as depression, psychosis, and dementia. While previous experience in mental health is preferred, the Trust offers opportunities for professional development and training for those looking to enhance their skills in this specialized area.

As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, the Dietitian will also engage in training staff and students, conducting audits, participating in research activities, and contributing to pathway development. The team is notable for being the largest mental health, learning disability, and autism dietetic service in the UK, with strong affiliations to the British Dietetic Association. The selected candidate will receive ample support through clinical supervision, networking, and a structured preceptorship program.
