The role of Senior RMN at HMP Isle of Wight with Inclusion requires an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join an innovative and recovery-focused team. The position entails providing high-quality mental health care to vulnerable individuals within a prison setting, managing a caseload while conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and facilitating therapeutic group work. The Senior RMN will serve as a care coordinator using the Care Programme Approach, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive care for individuals from initial assessment through to discharge.

Candidates should possess a flexible approach and a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act, demonstrating a commitment to delivering quality care and engaging in ongoing professional development. The role offers training opportunities and includes responsibilities such as line management of junior staff and participating in weekend work. A Welcome Bonus of 10% of the annual salary is available, payable in two installments.
