This post offers an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with an interest and expertise in promoting self-management of breathlessness a unique opportunity for professional and personal development within this specialty.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and competent Therapist to join our established team in providing assessments and interventions for patients living with long term conditions experiencing symptoms of breathlessness, fatigue and associated anxiety. You will also have an opportunity to participate in on-going research, teaching, innovative developments and service evaluation.
You will manage your own daily workload of patients, visiting patients in their own homes, in Outpatient Clinics or occasionally on the Wards. The team work remotely, but have the option to be based in the office, if preferred.
You will be working in an established Palliative Care Team that includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Doctors, a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Nurse Specialists. You will have access to the support and resources you require in order to succeed in this post.
