The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to join the catering department at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick. The ideal candidate will have prior catering experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. The position entails working 20 hours a week with a shift pattern primarily from 08:30 am to 15:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and may include weekends. Flexibility in scheduling and responsibilities is required.

Key responsibilities include performing a variety of general catering tasks to ensure high-quality service, such as washing patient crockery, reheating food, responding to ward requests, conducting general and deep cleaning, and maintaining control paperwork.
