The Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences (MCCN) is seeking a highly specialist Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Devonshire Intermediate Neuro Rehab Unit (INRU) in Stockport, part of an expanded therapy staffing initiative. This 19-bedded unit provides ongoing rehabilitation for post-acute patients with neurological conditions and collaborates closely with community teams. The role involves delivering individualized Occupational Therapy interventions, offering clinical and leadership support, and fostering educational opportunities to promote evidence-based practices within the Neurorehabilitation service.

Candidates should possess significant experience in neuro rehabilitation, demonstrating commitment to patient care and service development. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families throughout the rehabilitation process. This position also entails leading the Occupational Therapy team and contributing to the overall development of high-quality neurorehabilitation services within the organisation.
