Join NCL ICB's Strategy and Population Health Directorate as a Service Development and Integration Support Officer, working across the innovative Live Well and Age Well portfolios.This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference for NCL's 1.7 million residents by enhancing community and mental health services--a priority identified in the Darzi report. As part of a forward-thinking team, you will help set the standard for what's possible locally and contribute to shaping national healthcare strategies.
The role of the Service Development and Integration Support Officer:
You will work closely with the Service Development Lead and Head of Community and Mental Health, using your strong organisational and problem-solving skills to:o Lead Coordination: Organize high-level meetings, set impactful agendas, and ensure timely follow-up on actions.o Facilitate Success: Track project milestones, prepare key documents, and support effective decision-making.o Champion Communication: Act as the central link for sharing vital information with stakeholders, promoting transparency and collaboration.o Engage Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with wider teams in NCL and partner organisations to support communication and engagement for service improvements.o Drive Change: Support the wider team to deliver impactful projects and measurable results.o Streamline Operations: Manage diaries, coordinate meeting logistics, process invoices, and maintain databases and filing systems accurately. Provide ad-hoc support to senior team members as needed.o Create Impact: Produce polished, professional documents and materials that align with strategic goals.
