The Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust is looking for a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to join their team in Weston Super Mare, focusing on providing physiotherapy care within a mental health context for both inpatient and community settings. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored physiotherapy interventions for adults of working age and older individuals experiencing both mental health and physical issues. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a complex caseload, as well as providing training and supervision to junior staff and students.

The Specialist Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the physical well-being of service users, develop individual and group management plans, and maintain accurate clinical records. Additionally, the role involves engaging with patients who may experience challenging mental health conditions, requiring sensitivity and a strong commitment to professional standards.
