Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join their team at St Brelades, a male dementia ward at Alderney Hospital in Poole. The role involves providing assessment and treatment for older individuals with dementia and associated behavioral symptoms, emphasizing the importance of empathy, communication, and teamwork. While prior experience is preferred, it is not necessary as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided. The position is full-time, with flexible part-time options available, and includes various shift patterns.

Candidates will benefit from a structured induction program, monthly pay with enhancements for night and weekend shifts, and opportunities for career development. Job requirements include completing a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course, passing an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and good teamwork skills.
