The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Deputy Ward Manager for its new Respiratory Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC), located on the Respiratory Assessment Unit, Morton Ward. The role involves leading the SDEC team, collaborating with a medical team, and triaging and assessing respiratory patients for same-day care. The Deputy Ward Manager will also support junior staff and student nurses, perform critical nursing tasks such as ECGs and venepuncture, and play a key role in implementing changes to enhance the department's culture and practices.

Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
