The role of Urgent Community Response Clinical Lead at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust requires a skilled healthcare professional, such as a nurse, paramedic, or allied health professional (AHP), to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering timely urgent care within the community. The main responsibilities include overseeing the assessment and management of patients experiencing acute health issues, developing care plans to support recovery and prevent hospital admissions, and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

In this Band 7 position, the clinical lead will coordinate efforts with GPs, hospitals, and community services, while also mentoring junior staff. The role emphasises rapid response to urgent care needs, contributions to the Virtual Wards service, and collaborative working to provide integrated care for patients in their home environment.
