The Senior Clinical Fellow in Gastroenterology at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust, based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary, is responsible for supporting the Gastroenterology service, including providing ward cover, managing a diverse patient population, and participating in outpatient clinics. The role offers opportunities for specialized Endoscopy training and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including consultant gastroenterologists and advanced nurse practitioners. The successful candidate will engage in clinical audits, contribute to the education of junior medical staff and medical students, and will be expected to complete GI bleed on-call duties post-induction and assessment of competency.
