Operational Services Manager

Band 8A £53,755 to £60,504

The Operational Service Manager is accountable for the day-to-day operational management of their community services within Locala. The role will oversee a portfolio of community services based within Kirklees with the possibility to wider West Yorkshire partnership delivery.

You will work in partnership with the Quality & Professionals Manager to lead on delivering and improving high quality service delivery and patient care, ensuring colleagues within teams are supported in line with their professional standards, with responsibility for line managing and supporting Team Leaders to deliver quality services in line with contracts, service specification and KPIs.

Job Summary

  • Operationally manage a range of Community Services within a strong governance framework; Work collaboratively with Quality & Professionals Manager to ensure effective and quality services are delivered to meet patients needs within the division
  • Responsible for service delivery in line with contractual requirements within agreed financial and performance targets.
  • Develop strong links with other health, social care and commercial organisations to ensure that Community Services are maximised.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement activity within relevant service areas.
  • Promote and develop a culture of a learning organisation and continuous development.
